Programming a crystal
January 28, 2008
When we program a crystal for a healing purpose, it is our intention that guides us into action. The crystal is a reflector. We recognize in it our own ability to restore and harmonize. For example, a quartz crystal. (When choosing a stone, trust your first instinct.)
Quartz is akin to a flawless clarity. Holding a quartz crystal, intend to recognize this quality within levels of your self. Now you are beginning to understand how to program a crystal for personal healing.
Chrysocolla silver pendant

I have textured and worked the silver of this striking chrysocolla pendant, curling in both the top and bottom for a scroll effect. Chrysocolla is hydrated copper silicate, and has a hardness of 3.5 to 4.5. It comes in a variety of blue-green colors, though this one has a bit of red inside. To work with, this is a fragile stone, it requires mindfulness. This is a co-designed pendant.
