Aquamarine pendant

This African aquamarine is set in sterling silver. I worked the stone slightly to polish out some rough edges before making the setting. When I first saw it I was drawn to the color, but later became inspired by the hexagonal shape of this mineral. I have a very clear light blue-green version that would make a gorgeous ring.
