River Runner

Protect rivers and waterways!
The River series begins with two sterling silver rings. Turitella Agate is an earthy brown stone with magnificent white shell swirling through it. It is a stone of transition, containing both plant and mineral wisdom. Helping one in times of change, this agate has grounding effects for the root (1) chackra.

The Serpentine ring is set in a double band of sterling silver. Serpentine registers at 2.5 to 4 on Moh’s scale. As a sacred stone to many cultures past and present (Maori, Egyptian, Minoan, Assyrian, Aztec, Afganistan), this stone has many curative properties. It is known to support dis-ease of the kidney, stomach, lungs, and heart. It relieves cramps. Also, it can assist in meditation and with absorption of oxygen. Serpentine is well known for drawing out toxins. It has long been used for decoration in the form of amulets, seals and ornament.
Chackras 4, 7.

…to the water. I find that this combination of rose quartz, amethyst and jasper creates a mellow, meditative glow. Mooakite jasper’s smooth mauve blends with the faceted pink and purple quartz. Its a heart warming, mind cooling necklace.

As part of the water series, I have chosen beautifully faceted amethyst to make sterling silver wire-wrap rings. Also, one gorgeous green florite. The clear, crisp quality of each stone is undeniable. They are so colorful, you might want to eat them like sweets!

I love the soft yellow, blue and pink colors in this stone. Botswana Agate is a variety of chalcedony. It’s muted colors have a layering effect similar to the rings in wood. Agate is a great healing stone because it is grounding and energizing. It is helpful for recognizing the truth of circumstances and brings courage.

This necklace has a sterling silver S clasp similar to the previous one, Labradorite.

Rain is a line of jewellery that is inspired by water.
I am looking at the life-circle-cycle of water for inspiration. In the journey from cloud to rain, to river, to ocean and back to cloud again, water changes form and travels through the elements.
The first and second necklaces in the Rain series reflect Colors of the Morning Rain.
Labradorite is an iridescent green, blue, and yellow stone which appears at first glance to be grey.
It is very luminescent, and those drawn to it will find that it encourages a restful sleep. Labradorite also protects the aura and enhances night vision.
